No Momentum – Why People Quit.

by M.J Mascaro

When you first begin doing anything, you have no momentum. Nobody is chasing you. Nothing is happening. The WORST thing you can do at this point is quit, you should be building your momentum. This is a major reason why so many business people fail: Things don’t happen as fast, or as easily as they expected – so they quit.

Momentum works like this, you make the decision to start out. You have no contacts, no idea what to do, no idea where to go. You bash your head into a wall, posting ads, writing articles and whatever else you can think of – Nothing happens.

You keep going, you are building momentum with every new piece you get out there – believe it or not. Keeping at it makes people know that you’re not going to just fade away, like so many others. You are establishing your presence. Demonstrating your value – And people notice.

Then one day, your site traffic sky-rockets, you make sale. a side note- when I first started with www.joecorp1.com, my traffic went from 14 to 189 in a day, from NO OPT INS to 3 sales – IN ONE DAY. After a while you will have built up so much momentum that everything will happen in multiples – 2 or 3 sales one day, 5 or 6 the next. People will notice your momentum and want to be a part of it.

So how can YOU establish momentum? First you need to decide on a specific goal, something you are very good at, or have the ability to become very good at. Start your momentum rolling by becoming very knowledgeable in your chosen field.

Getting a good mentor helps create momentum, too. Find someone knowledgeable about your field and make them your friend. Ask their advice. If you have a question about something you don’t understand, ask your mentor. A good mentor is someone who gives opportunities, as well as challenges as teaching tools. We all need to know our weak spots as well as our strengths.

Momentum is like poker chips. You need to build more in order to stay in the game. The thing about momentum is, if you stop it will stop. Never stop challenging yourself – keep the momentum
